Samui Nightlife

If you are interested in nightlife then come to Ko Samui because you will be impressed. Chaweng is by far the main centre and offers up market big discos like The Green Mango and The Reggae Pub.  Lamai has a bigger proliferation of 'beer bars' though there are also plenty of restaurants and several pleasant, semi-outdoor drinking / dancing venues. Having said this we should perhaps mention that alcohol consumption is frowned upon in Thai society.
