We stayed at Montien House over December 1998/January 1999.  It was a wonderful experience.  The staff at Montien House was very friendly and efficient.  The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. The beach at night decorated with all the lights very romantic.  The food of outstanding quality. We really enjoyed our stay!! You can really be proud of your facilities.

We have stayed for three times at Montien house and we always had a plaisant stay there. The bungalows are very good and the staff is very friendly. They make fantastic cocktails and the food is delicious. Although we go in the summer of 1999 to the Philipines we make a stop in Koh Samui for one week, because we can't miss the feeling.

Just want to say that Koh Samui is the paradise om earth. Me and my friend Patrik Enghult spend a month there ( may-96) before we went to the army. I can recommend Montien house where the service is excellent. Greetings to the personel at: "Green mango", "Ark bar", Chang divingschool, "Reagge pub", "the Doors" , "Lindas bar". Hello, Most excellent site about Samui! Me and my wife were on Koh Samui during April -96. We stayed the whole month at Montien House which we feel are one of the most atmospheric and pleasant bungalow hotels on Chaweng. We highly recommend Cheers Beach Bar right next to it on any evening. The Thai personnell and the British owner Andy from Manchester are really nice and relaxed. Can anybody please tell if the place is still there? And give Andy our regards and tell them we will try to be back next year. Is there a public place with Internet access on the Island yet? Sort of a "CyberCafé" perhaps? Drop me a line.
