My children and I spent 10 days at Peace Bungalows way back before the upgraded buildings. We had been traveling hard as backpackers for weeks in Borneo and Malaysia and were looking for somewhere to crash for quality recuperation.  We looked at the whole of Ko Samui, and the best feel, by far, was at Peace Bungalows. The manageress was exceptional in
helpfulness and know-how, the food was terrific ( even for the children), the price was very good, the bungalows were just what we wanted, everything worked perfectly.  The food was quite exceptional due to canny buying and huge commercial refrigeration. For a change, we
could eat excellent freshly caught fish in the village at the south end ( 15 mins walk).
We never found another place like "Peace" in Thailand.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at Peace Bungalows for two weeks and it was perfect, very well run with good food and excellent service. We are planning a return trip next year.
