Just came back from a one night stay in a family bungalow at Munchies. We ended up there accidentally as our flight was cancelled due to heavy rain and actually, the entire airport shut down. We were offered at the airport the bungalow for 4000 bahts and were pleasantly surprised how clean and comfy the bungalow was and no kidding. the waves were literally within meters of our bungalow and we fell asleep to the crashing waves. when we woke up in the morning, it was just stunning as we were facing the water. can't really get much better than having pretty much your own private beach. staff were incredibly friendly, spoke very good english as well as at the bar and restaurant. food was good and cheap too.

We are recently back from our stay in Ko Samui, and stayed at Munchies. Our bungalow was beachfront and at 1700bt represented excellent value for service and ammenities. We found the southern end of Chaweng Beach more attractive than the northern which had to many people and no beach space. The walk to the markets and shopping was only fifteen minutes or ride a bike or get tuk tuk for 20bt. The staff at Munchies were very friendly and all spoke english. Meals were excelent quality and the price best on Island.

I have been last month on Ko Samui for one week, beautiful island I love it. I stayed in Munchies Resort for 1000 Baht, the Bungalows are nice but without telephone and TV. I come back next year in March or April, if somebody knows a better Hotel at Chaweng Beach with the same price, please send me an e-mail. The best on Koh Samui is the Green Mango discotheque and the bar ??. I miss you Koh Samui and especially Meaw.

To all of you who REALLY want value for your money, Visit Samui Resort Munchies. You can'nt have better view from you'r bungalow, if you like to see the sea in the morning and the sunset. It's a quiet and peaceful place with only 10-15 min walk in to the messy market, where you can shop and go for dance. Please belive me in these bungalows you can't get more near the beach with clean water, comparing to the northern Chaweng beach witch is more poluted. And too many resorts belive that it's nice to have high buches and messy flowers all around the bungalow, so you cant't see or easely go to the beach and sea, without a machete. I want to say this because the hospitality Munchies gave us, and when we saw and comparing the other places around Chaweng, witch is very VERY nice place to visit.
Have you ever been to Munchies Resort ?
