Maurizio & Angela Bertini (Italy)

Maurizio, Angela Bertini with their niece in July 2002 for 14 days from Italy at Weekender Resort. Unfortunately we have been there during the building of two new front sea side houses as well as the reorganisation of the gardens. We enjoyed our stay , sea and beach were perfect, staff very friendly, and the well fitted rooms. But we have to raise a critic to a poor breakfast.

Paradise on earth ! Stayed in garden view bungalow in June 01 for 16 days. Honeymooning ! Excellent service, food, scenery and price ! Will go again.

Have stayed at the Weekender 3 times now, first time was back in Dec 98, then June 00 and I have just got back after spending Christmas and New Year 2001 there. Friendly hotel, great staff and in a perfect situation on the beach and near the nightlife. No qualms as of yet and I'm going back again in April 2001. Lamai is by far the best place to stay, nice and friendly atmosphere and I have now got a lot of Thai friends over my 3 visits and they never forget you.

Excellent resort and staff. Perfect for my family with two kids 6 and 10 years. Our best holiday ever !!

Laura (USA)

We stayed several days at the Weekender in July 99. Although I know we booked a deluxe sea-view room, there were none available when we arrived, so we had an upper pool view.  The room was fine and clean, but the pool was small and the breakfasts only adequate.  The staff was very helpful and friendly, but we did look around and I think we will stay at the Aloha or another resort next year.

I think the first time I ever stayed at weekender was in about 1985 long before it got so big and fancy. My wife was manager there for about 2 years. Her name is Supajee and I'm sure many guests would remember her. I was last at weekender 3 years ago but will be there in June this year. It's now a little too much for me but only have a week or so to play so will probably stay there. The grass shacks are now condos and such. But I prefer Lamai area as it has all the nightlife I need but seems more friendly than Chaweng. Maybe will send more later till then bye bye.

Kerstin (Sweden)

Very good, near the sea and pool, quiet after new year. Bad breakfast, very little and if we came at 10:00 it was already finished, served to 10:30. Staff were very kindly and try tom yam kung soup in the restaurant very good, best in Thailand. The bungalow was very big and it's no problem to be 4 person there.

Hi everyone! I just returned from Thailand after a 3 month stay. I spent most of my time in Ko Samui. I stayed in Weekender Bungalows, outside Lamai. Anyone knows where this is, say hello to Sak for me! Anyone wants to know anything about Ko Samui, drop me a line! Bye for now!
